Roll up, roll up! I’ve reviewed the Super Grape Day Cream from Marks & Spencer’s Pure range previously on the blog and I think it’s a great little High Street find.

After years of collaborative research with scientists from a leading British university, M&S discovered that via a unique extraction process they could extract resveratrol from crushed pulp left over from the production of their own M&S wine.

Resveratrol is a polyphenol (micronutrient) antioxidant and is found in grapes, red wine, peanuts, pistachios, blueberries, cranberries, and cacao. When converted for topical application, it protects against sun damage, improves collagen synthesis, hydration and reduces cell damage. It has anti-inflammatory properties and is suitable for menopausal, ageing and dry/dehydrated skin. In addition, studies have shown that resveratrol can inhibit tumour development.

The Pure range is suitable for all skin types. It smooths, hydrates and protects; promotes younger, more radiant looking skin; and contains potent anti-ageing properties. It’s not been tested on animals and does not contain any parabens 🙂

I love the day cream, as it’s luxuriously hydrating without being heavy (I have combination/ageing skin) and it really does brighten my complexion, so I was tickled pink to discover they are currently offering the Day Cream (50ml), the Night Cream (50ml) and the Treatment Oil (28ml) in this range all for £30! Normally they are £14, £15 and £16 respectively.

Log on to M&S online and take a look at this, and some of the other well-regarded and mostly well-priced brands they stock.

Unfortunately they don’t ship beauty products to the antipodes so if you’re reading this with a big sigh from Down Under, perhaps you can ask one of your pommy chums to send some over 😉

Love a well-priced skincare line that actually works!

🙂
