“Age is just a number. It’s totally irrelevant, unless of course, you happen to be a bottle of wine…” – Joan Collins

But with age Joan, not only is the hair on my head disappearing, but my once thick and lustrous lashes are also on the wane, so should I drink another bottle of vintage wine and forget my first world problems, or can you wave your mascara wand and magic my lashes back to life?!

Timeless Beauty is Joan’s international luxury beauty brand, “aiming not only to inspire women, but to provide them with the tools to feel and be beautiful at any age”. One of Joan’s tools in her beauty box is her Class Act lash growth treatment which I started using a couple of weeks ago. There are some bold claims on the glamorous packaging “…lashes 169% longer and 13% thicker in just 30 days”!  So I thought, what the heck, it’s only £20 quid, let’s give it a whirl. This peptide boosting gel contains extract of laminaria (seaweed), pelvetia (sea algae) and apigenina (lemon flavonoid), which all help to promote growth and fullness. Applied once or twice a day, it can be worn alone or under mascara.

Well I gotta say, my eyebrows look a little fuller already but I’m yet to see any marked difference with my peepers. Watch this space though, as I’m quietly confident that Joan may be able to pull a rabbit, albeit a small one, out of the hat after 30 days and, this lash treatment is significantly cheaper than some of it’s big name rivals currently available, which is always a plus….

I bought mine at M&S, but it’s also available at QVC

PS. Apparently her Class Act mascara is also a winner, so perhaps I’ll try that next 🙂

Cheers Joan
