Hemp milk is made by blending water and hemp seeds (but contains virtually zero THC, ensuring a psychoactive-free drinking experience) and has a creamy/nutty/beany flavour. It contains both Omega 6 and 3 fatty acids, as well as a wealth of vitamins, minerals and all 10 amino acids, including magnesium, calcium, iron, potassium, beta-carotene, phosphorus, riboflavin, thiamin, and vitamins D, B12, and C.
It’s a great source of protein, is allegedly more digestible than soy protein and is a healthy alternative to dairy.
For your juice, try to buy organic ingredients wherever possible and ensure that the hemp milk is unsweetened – you can sweeten your own with some vanilla seeds or coconut palm sugar, but this juicy delight doesn’t need any additional sweetening as it’s sweeeeeeet enough already!
